Secondary school in North Cornwall Budehaven Community School has existed since 1973, having been formed from the former Bude Grammar School and Bude-Stratton Secondary Modern School. Since January 1991 the school has been on a single-site. A severe fire in 1999 destroyed much of the older buildings, but this was followed by a multi-million pound re-building programme, which was completed in 2002. Budehaven now boasts one of the most up to date schools in the region. Secondary Education We provide Secondary Education to the age of 18 for pupils of all abilities, traditionally taking children at age 11 from seven primary schools: Bude, Jacobstow, Kilkhampton, Marhamchurch, Morwenstow, Stratton and Whitstone.
