Staff at tourist offices are always helpful. This particular place was much higher in our expectations. Situated in a car park with ample public toilets, a community room to chill out (it even has WiFi) and learn about the local history and have a chilled drink. Maps range from 20p. The staff really take their time to show off the area and make recommendations. I just wished I had written down their names, a young chap with the glasses and a beard and a lady with short brown hair.

Very informative place to visit, lots of brochures, near to the canal, canoe launch and car parking permits available. VERY helpful staff, Clean, well kept toilets next door, The whole facility a credit, in this difficult virus restricted time. well done Brian. .

The ladies were so helpful and gave us all we needed for our week. Brochures with discount slips which we used today. Also - they even rang up some places to really confirm they’ll be open and the best way to approach the day out. I was really impressed, thank you
