The area is awesome to walk around. Along with the whole castle district structure, looks great. By itself, it's not that much of a thing when compared to many other reknown european gates though.

Have been there wintertime! Extremely beautiful! And large! Very beautiful spot to oversee Budapest and it's amazing Parliament! Go in the night so you have magic moments!

Lovely historic gate close to excellent hotel I stayed in back in June 2017.Lovely garden and park next to historic gate;as well as great views from the gate and many places to eat and drink in historic castle district nearby.What a gorgeous part of Budapest on the Pest side.
Amazing place. Good view of the city. Do not forget to take the stairs and see from up the small bridge on the gate
