The portions are big so if you want to be able to finish your main course don't order a starter or share your starter and your main course too But you can ask for a doggy bag too if you can't finish your meal. The food is very tasty and the servic is very good. I am very happy to recommend this restaurant. You can pay by card too with no problem

Huge portions, live music from 6pm and an allround nice-looking place. Can be slightly noisy as as so many people frequent it but it's still perfect for a nice dinner or for a family gathering.

A family restaurant which is one of the best in the neighbourhood. I've been here several times with my family. The menu is long, there are very interesting dishes in it but be prepared that it is not modern, more like a traditional Hungarian menu: lots of pork, heavy meat, fat and deep fried things. Not a cheap place, the prices are in the medium range. You get a really big portion for your money but unfortunately the quality is 3/5: fatty meat, just acceptable fries from the freezer... Like the average restaurants around Hungary 5-10 years ago. The service was always kind and friendly, totally fine! Only thing that last time they were extremely slow in the kitchen: maximum 20% of the tables were occupied and we had to wait 40 minutes to get our drinks, let's not talk about the rest of the visit. Altogether if you want to have a meal and you are in the neighbourhood, Torockó is a good choice but I wouldn't recommend to come to here from far.

Food was very abundant but not tasty. The meat (we had pork and cow meat) was a bad cut with a lot of fat. It has a very long menu. Service is good. Ambient is good. Nothing fancy.

Very good review on Google, but I don't know why... I went there with my family to spend a quality lunch, instead of that we have everything but not quality lunch. We ordered the main course and soup. Okey, the soup was pretty tasty and we did not wait long and that's why I rated it with 2 stars. After we ate the soup we waited more than an hour and a half for the main course. And that's not all, only 3 of us got the meal after an hour and a half, the 4th person had to wait another half-hour for meal. And it was not a full restaurant, maybe it was a couple of tables with people who were nervously waiting for food. And for the end, food was nothing specially. So, if you don't want to waste your time, avoid this place.
