The cafe is really worth to be visited. There are a lot of different varieties of food you can choose from. The prices are relatively cheep. It is located close to the parliament, if you are in this district, I really recommend you to go to this cafe. It is like a cantine, where it’s possible to try Hungarian food. But the food is not very tasty, I would rate it with 4 stars A lot of Hungarian people visit this cafe, I think, it’s a good sign))) The staff can speak English

Lecso operates a buffet at lunchtime which offers delicious food at affordable prices (ca. EUR 4-5 for a plentiful lunch). Popular with locals and tourists alike. I can’t comment on the dinner menu (which is pricier), but you really can’t go wrong here at lunch.
Super good selection of fast & ready Hungarian foods. Extremely affordable and not far from the Parliament building.

Amazing! The food given was generous and if you are hungry you should have the mixed platter (Hungarian one in the image). Definitely would recommend coming here for one evening dinner and we spent around 10-15 each which is pretty good (drinks included).
We were trying to get to another place, but they'd closed a half hour early, and this looked the best bet on the street. We tried the grilled cheese plate, the hungarian plate, and the \stuffed\ pork chop. We sampled a beer, the mulled wine, and fortified hot egg liquor. It was all really good, and the portions were twice what we thought they'd be, so we had a couple snacks off the leftovers later, which were surprisingly good cold. A festive friendly atmosphere, attentive service, and drinks to go completed the experience, and left me with a nostalgic longing to return some day.......some day......
This was probably the best place we went to eat during our trip. Although strategic because next to the full moon hotel where we were, this place is serving local food. This is important because at some point after few days you start wondering were are going the locals. Finally the answer: in that place, yes. You can get a large variety of dishes, some prepared with underated parts of meat… And it was delicious! And for no-thing… The price was one of the most reasonable in the city, and the service was great and efficient despite the place was full. I highly recommend going there!
