Great area, next to the Danube with many amazing old buildings and architecture. Great place to see the parliament and views of the citadella from the banks of the Danube.
This is not just historical place of Hungary but Europe really. You will literally have no focus point when looking at parliament. Worth visiting! If you be there before 8 pm, you will see parliament light up in action.
It was Christmas and people were there enjoying. If you have friends and family to enjoy its a good place.

Beautiful, must see place in Budapest.
Huge, nice sqare but few rge green territory, lots of concrete not to good. The parlament guard uniform is nice.
Beautiful Park 1. You cannot classify this square if it is in France or in Budapest because it is very clean, very decent and the lightnings shining upon the Hungarian Parliament Buildings are magnificent. 2. If you love taking picture , definitely go to the Kossuth Lajos Square and you can even take decent pictures with your iPhone at night with decent lightnings in the park.
