Not worth coming here for the exhibition but if you go to Margaret Island (which I highly recommend) you could make a one kilometers detour to visit. Also if you go the Aquincum museum you could make a detour on your way back to the city It's on a hill so be prepared for a bit of a climb The signs of trade exhibition is great and well thought through by the curator, the rest is a bit of a mess with paintings, furniture and other historical items thrown in without a coherent story

Amazing museum! The buildings has some contemporary architecture part, the exhibitions are well designed and has a lot to give for art lovers! Just walking around the place is also nice since the museum is located on Buda hill!

The exterior of the building is very impressive with the crimson roof and bright yellow wall. The exhibition has several topics: European statues, movable type machines, Hungarian abstract arts and the blueprints of many buildings of Budapest. The section of movable type machines has a wide collection with detailed explanation and there are videos showing the operation.

Nice little museum in am old chapel/mansion. Interesting permanent exhibits, for example historical printing presses and antique objects from the history of Budapest. The building itself is beautiful as well, under renovation as of the fall of 2018, check the website for hours and directions. In any case, we'll with the visit. Btw, I did find English materials about the museum and exhibits.

Budapest's underrated museum, with unrstimatable collection and progressive contemporary exhibitions. They also offer other great artistic programs.

The building was previously a church than a mansion that adds a nice vibe to the place itself. The collection mostly related to Budapest architecture and history, you can spend 1.5hrs easily discovering everything. The museum situated in a beautiful foresty surroundings, it worth to walk around.
