Airport was empty as of today 20.02.2021 and all the processes were so smooth as I was bi worried about the current covid situation, but it was totally different when I reached the airport. Security guards were so helpful in guiding passengers in a right directions and much appreciated. I had flight to Amsterdam and all check in and boarding were smooth and reached Amsterdam safely.

Big, but simple airport. Have a two terminal different entrace, but meet one place in middle. Now not to busy lots of shops is closed. The public area and the toilets is very clean. Some place you know charge your phone but this place always busy. Drinking fountain now have only one and hard found.
Very well constructed place. The terminals are easy to find and the place is very convenient. During the current pandemic situation, the police are there to check your temperature and help you with filling in your quarantine forms. They are very helpful and systematic. New comers would not have a problem navigating through the terminal both for arrival and departure.
Very large airport, very clean and a lots of store , you can find a cab easily
Budapest airport is one of the smallest I have seen in Europe... Though the airport is small it's been maintained and structured well. The gates are near by and you need not walk hours together to reach your gate .. the security checks are also crisp and clean and doesn't take a lot of waiting time...
Ghost terminal, which was once the number one Hungarian airport. For me this is a kind of a memorial of freedom

Duty free was quite good compared with other Eastern Europe countries. They do not offer discounts/deals that much though. Food options were good; international and local restaurants are available. We liked the local ones - pay them a visit and support local businesses Good accessible smoking are is available up stairs with open air, seats and table, as well as a nice bar with closed yet warm glazed space.
