It's a good Opera House. Very professional. I watched Carmina Burata and the solo performances were incredible, so was everything else. Especially the prices will surprise, v good.

Amazing place to visit. Even though as a foreigner is worth to visit an opera. Performers are really talented and acts are great. Historical architecture of the building and the concert hall are a real wow-factor.

A nice experience although not the best. The orchestra was amazing but the ballet wasn’t my taste. I saw Romeo and Juliet, save yourself and pick something better. The song would end and the dancers weren’t finished, so out of sync. The set design was an absolute brutalist fantasy which didn’t pair well with the //retro//??? Costumes. Anyway, this review should probably be about the venue which I quite liked. It gets a bit hot so be sure to wear layers. The drinks and snacks seemed a fair price so indulge!

Wonderful place to spent quality time on a Sunday evening. We've seen today Tosca, by Puccini....impressive and powerful representation. Definitely a must have !

Music and performance-wise, the National Opera of Bucharest is on par with the greatest names in the world, such as the Met or La Scala. However, there is a lot of room for improvement regarding the interior design or the scale and detail of the on-stage decorations in productions. A major budget boost from the authorities is in order. Also, the on-stage orchestra is top of the game. Great performances every time.

Splendid building! The opera performance was wonderful with good sonority even to the top seats. You should dress with fewer layers because if it's full house it will be hot inside (no AC). Pick a central seat in order to have a good view. Uncomfortable seats at the balcony.

I love coming to the Opera. It always takes me to a very nice story. I miss the bar with cocktails they used to have. Now it's only a simple counter where you can get donuts. I hope they bring that back. It integrated nicely with the full Opera idea. Be careful. It's very hot inside.
