Brilliant food and atmosphere. Staff were very attentive and friendly. If you only went to one restaurant this year, I would highly recommend you go to Tandoor at the Chambers. I had the soft shell crab which tasted fresh and packed with flavour. Mains was the Achari Duck Tandoor which was lovely and came with a nice jus/jam. Order rice to complete the dish. Side order of poppy aloo and cheese Naan which was the best decision ever. Great drinks menu to accompany any meal. I couldn't fault anything about the whole experience. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Went there recently on the eat out scheme. The restaurant is at the end of a very pretty road in Buckhurst Hill in what looks like an old now refurbished pub. The decor and the place are really beautiful. The menu is authentic Indian and not the usual bastardised Bangladeshi or Pakistani curry houses. The food is decent but catered to the taste of white people and most of the gravy is sickly sweet and we found that the paneer and chicken have the same gravy. The portions are ridiculously small. I have eaten at Kanishka in Mayfair and can assure the their portions are larger. The prawn main course is 20 and comes with just 4 small pieces. It was standard starter quantity. The lamb chops too were just as expensive with just 3 pcs for the main course. They were however very well cooked. Overall decent effort but the prices are high for the quantity and most of the gravies are sweet and not suited to someone looking for a typical North Indian/Punjabi taste that they are used to.

What an amazing and authentic Indian restaurant! I had a great time and enjoyed every starters and tandoor dish that were made. The highlight for me was the lamb chops, so far the ones I have liked are from Pakistani restaurants, but even those were usually overcooked and burnt. These chops were well cooked and very soft, almost just melted in your mouth! Most meat dishes had the same consistency. Great atmosphere and would definitely go back to try more food from their menu. Keep up the good work.
