It's a caving hut / bunkhouse for outdoor enthusiasts. Don't expect B&B or hotel standard. As it's not used regularly it often smells musty on arrival, but nothing that some open windows can't fix. The upstairs sleeping quarters and toilet are lovely and fresh following a refurbishment in the last few years. The living/dining room is a bit more tired, but still comfortable and more than adequate.

How can it be that there are 2 very different reviews here? The lowest one is 4 months after the highest one. Grumpy guest? Or decline in management? I'll take a look myself soon, haven't been there yet.
Modern, warm, clean with good drying room. Convenient for local amenities.
One star because zero stars wasn’t available. It’s filthy and infested. Black mold everywhere, doesn't look like it’s been cleaned since the 1930’s
