As with all NBCC International branch offices, NBCC Romania stands ready to work with academic institutions, professional organizations, government agencies, nongovernmental organizations and private enterprises to help develop the counseling profession and its support system in Romania. Blending the universally accepted concepts of counseling with national, cultural, social, political and economic factors, NBCC Romania guides the creation of education/training programs for counselors and the promotion of counseling services in the community. NBCC Romania is involved in creating and implementing a system of ethical and quality norms and standards at a national level for counseling activities - standards also promoted within specific certification programs.
