All staff are incredibly helpful and keen to make things work for their us. We ordered a skip for next day and were able to do a half and hour wait and pick up. The skip driver/operator Robert went above and beyond to help us. Our slot was 8-9am on a Saturday morning. He was very respectful of the neighbours, making sure the process was as quiet as able. He helped us organise our belongings to get the most out of the skip. Easy, no fuss service with staff who care. I can't recommend them enough.

Five Star service from a top class company. Needed a skip for my house in Livingston and they replied to my initial email looking for prices with 10 mins. They were also cheaper than the other quotes I received. I phoned to book and was greeted by a friendly voice Megan who then emailed me my receipt confirming everything was booked in. Skip arrived as promised and collected again when asked within 24 hours. Wanted to post a good review as I was nervous about booking a skip but genuinely delighted with the response and professionalism. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I can not recommend Buchanan Skip Hire. I have been waiting for them to collect their skip from my property for some considerable time now and it’s still blocking my driveway. It has been there for over 2 weeks when we only needed it for 3 days. I phoned to chase getting it uplifted a week ago, and was told it would be done by the end of the week, but this was a lie. I would avoid this company unless you want a skip as decoration for weeks. And their response was: to blame covid. Sigh. The get out of every poor company. But there's not a lot of human contact with skips is there? Avoid like the plague! EDIT AFTER DANIEL'S RESPONSE Ah another lie from them! I emailed them to let them know I was extremely unhappy, telling them I was leaving a negative review. And that's precisely what I did. So the little pretend game that I didn't contact them is a lie. But what do you expect from this company now right? This matter is very much not resolved; I am still extremely unhappy over the disgraceful way they treated me, with now three outright lies. Fundamentally this company have not done what they said, and left a skip uncollected for weeks, not collecting it when they said they would. Like I said, only hire from them if you want stuck with a skip as decoration for weeks because they are 'busy'.
Tried to get a delayed skip collection resolved, the guy on the phone decided instead to just talk over me. I hate it when men think they can do that to women? Eventually got the skip collected a week later because they were too busy due to covid. Wouldn't recommend, the delay meant the driveway work I had planned couldn't take place. The company did not respond well when this was raised with them. My neighbour needs a skip soon and I certainly won't be recommending these guys to her! EDIT AFTER DANIEL'S RESPONSE Daniel, if you would stop getting my honest reviews removed, then I could stop writing them! Fundamentally this issue is NOT RESOLVED because I, the customer who paid you 250, am still incredibly unhappy about the way you and your mother treated me. A week's skip hire dragged on and on, because you could not be bothered to pick it up on time. You then made this a million times worse by being rude, talking over me, and repeatedly lying about how you would resolve the problem. Fundamentally as I hired you through the initial positive reviews, I want to leave a negative review so others do not have the same bad experience I was subjected to. Stop trying to get my reviews deleted. Let customers read the positive and negative reviews and make up their own minds about whether they wish to contract with your company.
