It was so nice place!! I wanted to stay more there. But some stores didn’t open. Maybe it’s corona time, so they closed.

The whole port area especially the wooden buildings date beck to the 10th century so that makes it a legitimate World Heritage entry. There is a whole long list of fires, bombings, destruction and rebuilding but I was little tiny bit disappointed that Vikings had nothing to do with it. It was mostly German merchants trading, storing fish, probably drinking and lighting the place on fire. With little Viking involvement it'd have been much more interesting though. Currently they have no other choice but to keep it restored in its original wooden, timber log design. But I hope all the newly rebuilt structure is fireproof.

It is almost impossible to visit #bergen without making a stop at #bryggen The old commercial hanseatic buildings lining up the eastern side of the #vågenharbour beckons at one from miles away. Bryggen (the dock) also known as #tyskebryggen (german dock), a #unescoworldheritage is home to shops, art studios, cafes, restaurants etc Its a perfect hangout spot on sunny day as well as a rainy day in bergen

This place was travellers delight. Awesome sceneries everywhere. You can't stop licking pictures anywhere. Although public transportation are somewhat limited in this part of Norway. The sea food here is a must try. The fennicular ride was beautiful as well. You must keep 3-4 days in your travel itinerary for this heavenly beautiful place.

Probably the most beautiful walking street in Norway Beautiful coffee shops, the market is super super nice! Lots of museums and history, really nice harbour also! I totally recommend the fjord cruises!

Great scenery, UNESCO world heritage site, the stalls have a good selection of local delicacies, but at tourist prices (more so in the summer season) but if pressed for time a great place to sample a large variety of foods. The Fløyen funicular is also close by ready to take you to the top of Mt. Fløyen, if the queue is long, it might be quicker to walk up (45-50 mins)...
