The fact that they are allowing socially distanced tours in the museum in the middle of Corona crisis made me give them an extra star. The place was very well organised, the cherry on top was the virtual reality tour of 16th century!

Really nice gem hidden in plain view in the centre of Brussels. If you want to discover the local history and social relations of the past, it's the place to be. Visited the Bruegel exposition, really nicely done. VR as well was nice, although I am not a big fan. Breathtaking view from the tower. The audio guides are free and different for the children - actually kept mine listening for the whole visit. Extra kind staff, really happy about the whole experience.

Visited this gate in 2019 when I was new to Brussels. Part of the old citadel in Brussels now turned to a museum. You can have a tour inside and see the collections of the museum. This year 2020, they used this gate as part of Bright Brussels light festival. Once of the prominent buildings along Louise avenue.

It was incredible! I didn't expect it to be that good. I advise you to ask for the audio-guide (you can get it for free), because the story behind every object and every place it's really interesting. I loved the view from above, you can see all of the city. Definitevely one of the first places you must go when you arrive in Brussels!

Very nice visit, great VR installations and the Bruguel exhibition inside right now is absolutely worth seeing. Loved the VR and if you go with kids they will appreciate it also!

I always love old castle like architecture and this was no exception. It was convenient to go to from in the city and offered solid views from the roof. There was some pretty neat VR to give you a feel for what it would've been like hundreds of years ago.
