The rink is pretty old school, wooden seats and a few steel pillars in the way but I can honestly say its an excellent experience to watch some hockey there. The fans are passionate and very welcoming, a great crowd of locals. I always enjoy going when when its an away match to Edinburgh.

Murrayfield Ice Rink is in dire need of some investment; it hasn't changed for many years, but perhaps that's part of its charm. Die hard ice hockey fans still fill the seats for the Edinburgh Capitals each Sunday, and the atmosphere is amazing! Get yourself down there, soak up the vibe, and support your local hockey team. It's a great day out for everyone, including the kids.

My son's first hockey game, the arena is old and dated, but that's what made the excitement level, the ice hockey was fantastic and everybody seemed friendly. Great evening

Lovely experience there with ice hockey. Great match with Braehead clan. Beers not allowed out of the bar

They may not be very good but it's still a great way to spend a few hours. Game quality varies greatly but when it's good it's very good. Special shout out to the annual Hogmanay game between the capitals and the Fife flyers, always a great way to start Hogmanay.
