Lovely wee cafe with excellent food. A small basic snack lunch menu (see attached pics) but interesting surprise items such as mars bar scones. There is only 10 tables including some comfy chairs. Next time you are in Ballater pop in for a coffee and cake or haggis pannini.

Attitude & customer service is appalling. Rude!!!! I will not be back. Went in for a bacon roll to takeaway & lorne roll lady behind till looked us up and down was rude and snappy. Was not offered a menu just \what do you want\ when asked for sausage roll she looked up nose curled said it lorne do you know what that is... clearly thought I was a tourist which makes the attitude worse! Clarify I am not I live other side of aberdeenshire and i know what lorne is and what they served was disgusting with green lumps inside it. Bacon roll however was nice and thats the only reason I gave 1 star. Decor inside needs a serious revamp & clean!
