I'm from Charleston, SC where Southern Hospitality is BEST! Our family made reservations for 6:30pm on a Wednesday night. We arrived at 6:25pm and we advised the 16yr old hostess we had a reservation, she promptly advised us to go the bar area and the lady there would help us, so we did....no one was there! We went back to her station and she wasn't there but we saw our name (the only name to be exact) on her reservation list. When she returned we advised her we had a reservation for 6:30pm, she was very unconcerned and uncaring and proceeded to seat the 5 of us. She asked for our drink order and after my son in law ordered a beer she advised us she wasn't able to carry the beer as she is only 16 yrs old. Our actual waitress came and took our drink order and then brought a basket of rolls & butter.....the rolls were harder than a brick bat and dry as a bone!! We then ordered a bottle of wine with 2 glasses....the glasses were dirty and had a white film all over them. WE politely asked for clean glasses and then asked to speak to the manager. I walked over the hostess stand and met the manager and asked her to please \sit down and talk to me for a minute\ she was holding 1 wine glass in her hand and responded by saying \I don't have time I'm really busy and I'm also the bartender\ ( there were only 4 patrons sitting at the bar) I proceeded to tell her about my concerns to which she responded with an EXCUSE for each one of my concerns....I suggested she listen to my complaints and show a little concern to which again she said she was \busy\ Our family left the Brown Derby to never return! We went down the street to the Outback Steak House and had a wonderful evening of amazing service, food and fellowship! What a horrible experience to say the least.....I'm 68yrs old, I'm a small business owner and I can only imagine what would happen if I treated any of my customers this way or for that matter anyone I encounter!! Remember the Golden Rule, it works!

The staff was friendly. The food was great. Really enjoyed the ranch dressing for the salad. I like how they give a side of butter with your steak so if you choose to drench it.

Server was very good. Our steaks were like eating rubber bands. My strip steak was nothing more than a piece of sirloin that looked identical to my wife's sirloin. Tonight was the second time this has happened to me at this place and will be the final time.

This was the best meal and service I have had in years. I am a very picky eater and every thing we had was tops . Steak was cooked perfect. .I had ribeye and daughter had fish. Salad with white french that they make was really good no scrimping on any portions. Had enough food to take home for another meal. I will be back. I am 74 and it was like going back to the good old days..no I have to say better. I liked that that they had another person going around to refill extra Amy Roberts

A solid dining experience. I had the Porterhouse with broccoli. Everything was good nothing was bad. Dont expect an inspiring meal though. This is not that kind of experience. If you want a pleasant dining experience with good service and reasonably priced fare, then this is the place to go.
