Beautiful unusual gardens. Full of fruit trees, beautiful flowers, sun dials and little pathways some with glimpses of the fishing boats. Well worth a look. We were pleasantly surprised

Just posting for the garden, as the house was closed when we visited. Worth the visit, even in late October when a garden is past it's best from the year. Would like to visit again in the summer months.
After viewing Hornel paintings in the Kirkcudbright Art Gallery we came here to discover more about the artist and his work. Excellent museum. Helpful staff gave guided tour of main gallery. Artist studio with unfinished paintings was most interesting. Garden to Broughton House was really special. Recommended
Nice garden with oneway system in place for covid. Loads of wee secluded areas in garden.
A very compact garden with just as much plants as much larger gardens, very tranquil.
