Excellent and varied choice of fresh meats and produce. I can taste the quality of purchases of meat against supermarket purchases. Highly recommended for great service and value.

I rate this place highly as I try to support small, family owned roadside restaurants -- rather than faceless corporations like MNcDonalds and Costa that have taken over our motorways. Broom Hill Farm Shop and Cafe is well worth pulling off the back road from Edinburgh the London (the A68) as it's excellent. It's on a real farm, with the smell to prove it and dogs running around saying hello. They have a brilliant shop stocked with meats and cakes they have made here, and things like mead from nearby Lindesfarne. I bought a sirloin steak that was made and packed here. My main dish was a full English Breakfast, with home-grown eggs, bacon and bread. The only outsider on my plate is beans. And I'm sure they won't mind me sitting around for an extra half hour, reading my book by Philip K. Dick (Ubik) and recovering from the boring drive from down south.

Good food always. Sunday roasts are really nice. The farm shop has plenty of choice.
Absolutely beautiful breakfast. 10 out of 10. Lovely man serving us and the hotchocolate was the best of tasted.
