I have been at Brooks for about 10 years now and I have had some of the best experiences of my life with my teachers and friends. Jackie and Lucy are such incredible teachers and role models that i will always look up to! The Brooks studio is my happy place

Our lovely daughters have been attending Brooks Dance Academy since 1999 when my eldest was almost 3 followed by her little sister 5 years later. Jackie has grown from a small school in a church hall to the beautifully equipped dance studio she now occupies with her brilliant team of dance teachers. Producing amazing productions and results in local competitions. Jackie has given them a lifelong gift with the love of dance. Currently at university my eldest still enjoys dancing as a hobby, to keep fit and relieve stress. As a dance teacher Jackie has helped our daughters achieve many accomplishments and boosted their confidence to walk tall ( and beautifully postured). I highly recommend Brooks dance academy.
I attended Brooks Dance Academy all my life up to the age of 18. I would go there three times a week and it's where I met some of my closest friends and had some of my best childhood memories. Jackie was one of the main people who inspired me to go into performing arts as a career, she is passionate, encouraging and honest. I came out of the dance school with a high level of dance ability which really helped forward my career enabling me to be offered a place at one of the best Musical theatre schools in the U.K. and also one of the best music conservatoires. I couldn't recommend Brooks Dance Academy highly enough.
As a dancer from the age of 4, Miss Jackie didn't just teach me to dance but also how to perform. The classes I attended were challenging to ensure we achieved our best but I also made close friends in the process after continuing to dance with Jackie until I was 18. I have now continued to dance at university, something I wouldn't be doing if I hadn't had such a good time learning to dance at Brooks dance academy, and after doing it for so long I would never want to give it up. Jackie is a fab teacher and I'm grateful I was taught to dance by her; I enjoyed practicing for shows, competitions and exams and I still miss being part of the dance school!
Our little girl has been going to Brookes since she was 3.5 and is still going strong at nearly 10. She absolutely adores it and I can't recommend this school and it's wonderful teachers higly enough to anyone looking for a dance school for thier child to join. Not only that, Miss Jackie is encoraging me back into the splits at the adult ballet barre stretch classes that she runs on Thursday mornings. PS..... written from hubbies laptop..... it's me trying to get into the splits, not him! Pip xx :-)
