To start. The food was great. Good flavor and not over cooked. Well done. But the customer service was atrocious. After entering, I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes before someone acknowledged me. I watched as several other customers entered and received the same terrible service. One customer expressed being hung up on 3 times while trying to order.

For the area and the expectations, the food was okay. However, the customer service was excellent. The lady that served me was courteous and friendly which is not very common in Caribbean establishments.

Good food, good service however they are little slack on the mask wearing rule.

The Food was delicious, I ordered the griot w/rice & beans and fried bannann. The young woman who helped me was very nice. My brother recommended Tamara's to me and I will definitely be back.

I ordered the rice and beans, grillot with a side of plantain. The food hit the spot! I am so glad that on my first visit, it was a very pleasant one. The staff was friendly. It took about 15 minutes to get the food, but if you want fast food, go to McDonald’s..

Pa pale Engles. Food was cold. Place looked unclean. Update: the owner responded to my feedback and critiqued my experience as well as questioned its validity. What would I benefit from lying about my experience at a restaurant? On the night i bought food from here my food was cold. I live 5 min away and i had to put the food in the microwave. On the night i bought food from here, the place was unkempt and cluttered boxes everywhere floor sticky not appealing at all On the night i bought food from here the servers English made the ordering process take a bit longer than usual and mwen pale Kreyole tu petit. Ive never had a problem in any other Hatiain restaurant I patronize. The food was alright not spectacular. The owner has to realize you are in Brooklyn. Canarsie is borderline little Haiti there are Hatian restaurants every other block. Your restaurant is not an exemplar spot yet. Just keep working on it. I support Black business. I dont eat spanish food so if you wanted this review removed you should have just asked. I would have done so immediately. To call me wretched was rather rude and it seems this owner does not have a customer first mentality. I still wish this establishment success.

Service: I'm from the English speaking Caribbean and I know nothing of Haitian Creole. However, they insist on speaking creole with me even when I request them to speak in English. That's the first turn off. Then, because I'm not Haitian, I don't automatically get the black bean sauce UNLESS I go with my Haitian friend... Otherwise I have to ask for it. There's one lady, she's very sweet. Her English is weak but she tries and that's all I ask. Environment: Usually very clean and organized. Food: Is amazing! That's why even with the service, I keep going back. The food is really good! Recommend turkey fritay, and rice with legumes.
