I LOVE THIS PLACE. It is here where I got my first job in 1988. It was the people I worked with, provided the knowledge, commitment, teachings and overall support I needed to turn a job into a career. At that time it was known as the Board Of Education of the City of New York and although I haven't worked there is 28 years and still miss it. I don't know who the staff are now but I am still friends with some of ones I met 30 years ago. Special Thanks to J. Weiss, I miss you dearly. C. Oxford-Yard, you were the best and C. McCloud, thanks for your support.

Attended a DD Council meeting. Was a bit long but information was useful. Special needs members were so hospitable, interactive and welcoming.

The staff were nice for the most part but the wait is almost as equivalent to being at the DMV.

Writing this review while on hold... Make sure you know exactly what to ask! Some of the customer service reps do not know what they are taking about!! I asked a simple question about my application and was told left and right that my application was complete and all I had to do was wait until I received my start date email, but it has been ONE MONTH and today they told me that there is a form missing from my application if the first person I spoke to would have answered my question correctly I would have already been working instead of sitting in my kitchen, not working, and waiting on hold for 1 hour 21 minutes and 40 second... And counting!!!!
