I go there for the work out equipment there and the amphitheater has club music at night in the summer. I play my bass for the audience in the park amd also visit the dog park to check out the various breeds in my neighborhood. Cool hang out spot1

Able to walk freely and distant. It's a place you can xcape for a peaceful thought or just to recognize again the beauty and love of nature.

Named for Community Activist Herbert Von King. This park is one of Brooklyn's gems. Great trees, playgrounds and picnic areas. It used to have a very active Little League baseball team known as the Brooklyn Bombers that played on the baseball field in the park. Unfortunately due to cutbacks, this part of the park has gone unkempt. That could also be said of other areas in the park, but its still a great place to be any season of the year because of its overall beauty.

Nice and peaceful park to go to to enjoy a little down time. Walk, Run or jog around the park then find a place to sit down and relax. Or bring the kids and run crazy together. Then have a little picnic. Enjoy.

Park was great but sometimes groups of guys dominate the workout space. The grass area is cool but has a lot of random trash and the grass has a lot of empty twiggy spots. Homeless sleeping in the benches also. Despite this I would 100% go back. I felt safe and after we found a spot that wasnt too crowded it was all good.
