STAY AWAY!!! Pretty shady manager.... We left a check for 75 for a background check, as we were interested in a property at Deep Lake. When we changed our mind within 48 hours, the manager promised to cancel our check since it had not been cashed. About 2 months later, the check shows up in our account as cashed. He will not refund our money. This is not how a business garners good ratings. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! (If he does one day return our money, this review will change. I'm not going to hold my breath since it has been over 6 months since this happened....)
Was going to buy in a few years ago but other things came up that prevented that from happening. The park was clean, well kept and mowed. The husband and wife managers at the time was very nice and super helpful with all my questions. Went there in there this fall to have another look at some cottages and the park was a completey different. Holes dug up everywhere, roads were a mess, I was absolutely shocked. Apparently it is under new management as well and I could not for the life of me get ahold of this person. Would love to see the place cleaned up before I even think of buying in now. Very saddening to see the place in such a state in a matter of a few short years.
Been going up here to my grandma's cottage my entire life. Very good sense of community among the people who come up here. Smallish, but not a very busy lake. Really quiet and calm.
