Omori Izakaya

I was browsing for sushi omakase in the Brookline area and came across Omori Izakaya. I am very impressed with the quality of everything here. I ordered 3 dishes, the omakase for 2 (came with the chef's best recommended fish, the toro, and salmon were amazing), the fried oyster from the omakase was absolutely amazing and one of the best I've ever had, the grill maceral (very very good), and finally the chef's recommended kushiyaki. I loved everything here, and would return in the future!

This was a lovely self-date to pick me up. Good call on the whiskey choice; everything was delicious but I would get dessert elsewhere.

This place is very good to have some beer with kushiyaki after work. Food looks good in the pictures but taste was just okay. We love the grill mackerel it’s a plus. Service is good, location is right next to the green line (D) which is great. Sometimes you will hear the train passing by, it just feels like in Tokyo.

Love the pork belly, beef tendon, and chicken thigh. Salmon sashimi is very fresh and great quality. Honestly all the dishes I had was amazing! Love the flavors there

Fish tastes fresh and the portions in the sushi roll are awesome. Service was prompt and friendly. They have some dine in options that are following Covid guidelines. We’ve done dine in and take out. Both were a hit with the family. The pork belly bun was BOMB. They have an awesome assortment of different foods and so far everything has been tasty.
