This store has probably the rudest and most unprofessional individuals you will ever come across within the comics community, specifically the so called manager. Who obviously has some serious issues he needs to deal with instead of taking it out on customers. Complete disrespectful man-child who is a scammer and has no regard for any kind of customer service. A store I've been visiting since I was a teenager, ruined by new management. He will sell the comics you put on your pull list to other people, tell you the issues are out of stock and have been ordered for you again, weeks will pass and you still won't have what you initially requested. You'll bring up the obvious problem and you'll be told that if you don't buy the other 5 comics on your pull list (When there's missing issues inbetween) they won't order in the missing issues for you, even though you've already been told they have weeks before. So then like a respectable adult does without argument, you cancel your standing orders and leave with a shred of dignity. The next time you enter the store to just browse or purchase a random item because its your local, you will be refused service out of sheer spite. Even though you were polite, considerate, didn't curse, shout, cause any kind of problem that would be considered unreasonable. You will be completely humiliated. I highly advise you avoid this place at all costs. They will also charge you a tiny bit extra when checking out because they think you're incapable of adding up. If you want exceptional care and service from cool people who take care of their customers you can sign up for mail orders from Raygun comics or just spend the extra time and money to travel to Central London and take a look at Gosh Comics. Those guys are truly phenomenal people. This store seriously disgusts me.

Piranha Comics is a unique shop. The best way I can describe it is as cross between a high street store and an online store. Just think of Argos as a comic shop and you're half way there. However, you'll not get the advantage of using it like this if you live nowhere near Bromley or Kingston. If you're a comic book collector who likes to trawl through comic long boxes then this store is not for you. Back issues are kept away from the public so you have to present a list of what you want and someone will go of to look for it for you (like Argos as I told you). There are two racks of recent comics on display for customers (at Bromley store) and some vintage toy merchandise and some wall comics but that's it for the front end. Recent comic book prices are higher than average so beware (sometimes even higher than the price). As a comic book store it's not quite my cup of tea but for those looking to casually buy their weekly pulls or looking for that elusive back issue this maybe for you, if you don't mind the slightly higher prices. It must be noted that staff are friendly and helpful so not at all an unfruitful trip.

After some new reading material and after a few minutes of explaining some of the stuff that I had read and liked, Lewis reeled off multiple options - I ended up with Ice Cream Man, Sweet Tooth - both read and way above expectations - and still have Scalped, The Authority, Animalman and Miracleman to go. Really knowledgeable, very helpful and 100% will be going back

What a shambles the standing order service is. Had to sign up three times in store just to get registered. After the third time still no communication for over a month so assumed i wasn’t registered again then randomly harassed with phone calls saying I had a bill to pay. Wanted payment over the phone. Given 2 days then they cancelled my subscription without notice or warning and now barred from using them going forward when questioning it. Owner Bek needs a crash course in customer service

Probably some of the best customer service I have ever received, walked in there knowing very little about comics as I normally only read manga, but left there know more, Lewis who helped me was brilliant recommended tons of comics to read and had a brilliant knowledge of everything, no question was left unanswered. Looks like I will be spending most of my free time in here looking for stuff to read!
