Just spent a lovely afternoon with Paul learning how to make pork pies! Would highly recommend this to anyone, no matter your level of cooking ability. All very covid secure and safe. Paul was very knowledgable and helpful, and the pies are absolutely delicious. As well as the ones you make, we purchased another 4 (will need to visit the gym next week!) to try. The Moo and Blue is a favourite! Thanks again guys for a great day.

Our first visit to the Farmers Market at Chilwell. Came across Brockleby's Stall. There was so many lovely pies to choose from. We chose the Cocky Leeky Chicken Pie and the Kiwi Mince Beef pie. They were both very tasty and filling and the pastry was just how we like it. Highly recommended and will be trying more varieties and pork pie.
Bought 4 pies from a farmers market, had 2 of them last night , the deer and the salmon one. Pastry was good , but where was the meat/fish ? I counted 3 small pieces of venison , which were gristly, and the salmon pie seemed to have a huge amount of broccoli , in that it looked quite unappetising. At 5 each I was expecting so much more from a single serving pie, really disappointed . Put me right off buying things from farmers markets again, thought we should help local business, but the 1 pies in Lidl are far better than these !
