My daughters and I had such a great day at Joss Bay beach. The sand is lovely and the beach was clean for the most part. There is great waves for surfers, but the water was a bit too rough for the kids to swim in unfortunately, but I’m sure that’s not all the time. There’s a cafe and toilets on site as well as ample parking (1 an hour).

This is a really nice beach, loads of parking which is just as well because it can be heaving when the weather is nice. If you are going to go on a hot weekend or school holiday day it is likely to be rammed. If your heading down in the week its not so bad. Its great for a sunset too. Really nice and broadstairs is 5 mins away by car for food/shops.
Lovely little beach with gold sands, toilets nearby, water sports, parking nearby - 5 the whole day, hot and cold drinks facilities, you can hire an umbrella for 4 and they have wind shield got hire too. Very nice beach which we will return to one day. The only negative was that there was only one shower to rinse off the sand before you got off the beach so be prepared to wait if you're leaving at a common time.
Very nice beach... parking on the field is 5 all day. Nice cafe all you need for snack. Toilets facility, but by middle of the day no toilet rolls... people keep social distance in this not easy time. Will recomend to arrive early to get parking and also check the tide time.
We arrived at 10am on Monday - the beach was very quiet and peaceful. Lovely soft sand and reasonably clean! Soon packed up by midday but enough space for everyone. Expect very busy on weekends. Parking 2 for 2 hours. Toilets were clean-ish, by beach standards. Recommended ️ ️ ️
Beautiful sandy beach . Spent the day with the family and the kids really loved it. It was a Saturday, Mid-August cloudy ️ day, so no many people around which was great. Free parking by the field as there weren’t people to check, but normally 5 all day. Will definitely go again next year.
Joss bay is the best beach I've been to. Its a sandy beach with rock pools on both sides of the beach. It has white chalk cliffs and they sell hot food and drinks and the sea is lovely to swim in despite the amount of seaweed near the shore. Highly recommended!
Lovely beach! Not too many people and the beach is sandy. Plenty of parking. There could be more shops nearby but we had great day out there.
