On the door and website it says its a pet friendly restaurant, upon arrival I was asked to put on a muzzle to my elderly extremely well behaved doberman because according to them she is not small enough. The last times I was here with a Labrador and a hunting dog mix they said nothing to us even brought water to the dog. So people be aware they do discriminate and judge purely on the breed of your dog.

Very good place to eat a drink the beer on the world Pilsner from tank.
Historical restaurant in the heart of Brno where you can taste many different dishes including traditional Czech food. The restaurant is really big and I really like the design. About my experience with their food I liked the goose leg with potatoes dumpling, the hamburger is big and is nice but in Brno is possible to eat better hamburger. I would say that mostly their dishes are nice but I didn't like how they made the salmon. Their Pilsner is really good I could drink liters of it. Is 100% a place to visit at least once.
If you are in Brno and want some traditional Czech food then this place hits the spot. Nice dark, cool interior. Sit by the bar in the front, or in the restaurant area at the back. Food and beer is excellent and reasonably priced. Big portions too. Well worth a visit.
This is my favorite place I have ever eaten in the Czech Republic. The service was always fast, friendly enough, and the quality of the food is perfect. Oh and you better be hungry. The portion size is huge. The prices are low. And it was my best ever duck, dumplings, and pivo. I was in Brno for 3 days and ate here twice. Next time I am back. This will be the first place I stop.
It's a classic beer restaurant to take a break from different kinds of multitap pubs. They have only two beers if I remember correctly (Pilsner urquell and dark Kozel) both great. We didn't eat anything, but I would say that it's highly improbable to be disappointed with traditional Czech food in such a place. This place has a history too - there has been a pub here since the second half of the 19th century.
Great service, great food and great beer... 5 stars all around :D
