This is a local favorite according to my co-workers. Good food at good prices. It also has a full bar, which I did not partake. They usually have an English menu but tonight they didn't.the waitress was able to translate enough of the menu so I could order. I had goulash with dumplings, and they were as good a the best goulash I've had in Brno. The staff spoke reasonable English. There was also some tempting desserts on display, though I didn't try any. Dinner and a drink was 200 Kron (about 5).
If the service was nicer I would come back again. But basic manners are evidently forgotten. Food ok.
Nice and big interier, very tasty food with many choices. As they prepare your meal, you can see inside the kitchen through a window which is something I absolutely LOVE (as the kitchen is very clean and well-ordered also). The prices are also very good and you get water with menus. One of the best places in Brno.
Interesting environment, premium cuisine and surprisingly reasonable prices. My new favorite in this area, maybe in the whole city.
This restaurant I reviewed several years ago and needed to say still holds it's quality. I would like to mention again the interior and theme dedicated to old Czech made tricycle called Velorex from which the name derives. The place is still nice and tidy and service is provided with smile. Keep going !
