My friend purchased the sorrel cake for me and I also purchased one along with a fruit cake on Christmas Eve, I’ve never had it before this, and I definitely was not disappointed, the sauce was nice and really complimented the cake; I was also given a sorrel cookie and that was so scrumptious. It’s not my first time buying cakes and cupcakes and they are always very delicious.

I ordered Sorrel cakes, they were posted and arrived promptly. The colour, texture and flavour are perfect. I also had Sweet potato pudding and fruit cakes over Christmas which were equally delicious.

Despite the hiccup I experienced with my sorrel cake order, which was resolved swiftly by the manager, it led to create doubts in my mind as to what the cake would be like. However after having a slice on Christmas Day with my son and nephew we were blown away with the taste, texture and flavour. I loved the fact that the rum and sugar did not overpower. The rightful dominant flavour is definitely the sorrel . Will certainly be ordering again
