Not impressed. As someone of Jamaican heritage I was expecting better. The Take Away menu is well set out and, whilst pricey, the Jamaican flag flying from the window suggested authenticity. Well, I'm afraid we have been disappointed and I regretfully would not recommend this place. We ordered the Pumpkin Patty and the Fried Dumplings, and paid the 9 bill. The food arrived in good time and we took it home. It was only then that we realised our mistake in expecting good things. Dumplings are round and pattys are flaky - not soggy! I hate being negative as times are tough for small businesses, but if you offering 'authentic Jamaican food', then please make it authentic.

I was here in Brixham on holiday and really looking forward to some authentic Caribbean food. I ordered the stew chicken, but it was inedible. The chicken was dry and in a rich gravy with no real flavour. We also had Jerk chicken which was equally rich and similar taste to the stew chicken. The only half decent thing was the rice, but the mains were so below par. I was really disappointed as Carribean is one of my favourite cuisines, but I really was shocked at what I ended up with.
Loved this place. Food is amazing and the portions are very generous; so ensure you got there hungry. They do a large selection of cocktails and some awesome rums too. Family and dog friendly. These are upstairs above another shop.
Excellent food, only takeaway due to virus. Superb location on 1st floor overlooking harbour. Perhaps a bit pricey.
Really really disappointing. Everything tastes like reheated and luke warm. Jerk chicken not authentic and seemed like it was made up using a cheap shop bought sauce, no flavour of all-spice at all. Chicken stew had no flavour, it was dry and tasted heavily of browning. I understand they have got good reviews, it is maybe good for tourists who havnt tried Carribbean food but if your used to good Carribbean food please don't waste your money here as we couldn't even finish it.
