We have been visiting Brixham for over 20 years and have never stepped foot into the heritage museum until recently, I have to say for a museum that is free of charge it is the most interesting place I have ever visited, inside you will learn lots of local history not only about Brixham but also about other places close to Brixham, please visit this amazing place you won't be disappointed.

Interesting museum but in many ways aimed as an educational facility. I personally was fascinated by the morse code section and hearing the difference between 12 words a minute and the 25 words a minute used through the war. There is a morse key which flashes the message. Took me all my time to manage my name. Greatest respect for those like my grandmother who received and transmitted/transcribed telegrams. Glad I went here

Really interesting local history museum spread over 2 floors of what was the Police Station. Lots of exhibits from the time when wooly mammoths roamed the area through to the present day and all for free! Donations gratefully accepted
