A great place to walk around with some lovely views. Plenty of benches around to sit and enjoy the views

Excellent area of natural beauty. With the rugged coastline, ancient quarry, WW2 defence structures and the Napoleonic fort make for a very varied visit. There are opportunities to view both aquatic wildlife and multiple bird life. There is adequate parking if you must drive here. Also good access from local area and several caravan sites. The Napoleonic fort is well worth a visit and do drop in and enjoy the cafe which caters well for all dietary needs and is very popular with walkers and locals alike. Definitely worth more than one visit to enjoy all it has to offer

A beautiful place to go for a walk, see the old Napoleonic War fortifications and the lighthouse as well as some terrific coastal views

Outstanding area of natural beauty with stunning views over south Devon. We were lucky enough to have a double rainbow over us when we went! Really lovely walk.

Beautiful area. Outstanding views and there is a cafe too with seating. You could take yourself a picnic. The walk up is steady along the coastal path but can be accessible too by walking up a road. Very high up area with a view for miles. You may see the dolphins fishing off the headland. The cliff edges are steep with no protection to falling so stand well back. So peaceful up here. A place of history this was the closest that Napoleon Bonaparte got to the shores of England, on his prison ship.
