I've bought both top soil and turf from British Soil. After calling up both times I've been given a quote over the phone, which has always been far less than I was expecting to pay. The lady in the office is always polite and helpful. Payment was taken over the phone and collection was contact-free (due to the pandemic). Both soil and turf are top quality. I will definitely be coming here again for any garden projects.

Great experience all round. Point of sale staff friendly efficient and very knowledgeable. Pre-delivery phone call to me to check all was okay was fantastic for my scheduling as well as theirs. Delivery driver was very friendly and helpful. Topsoil was bagged well and was dry - a big plus. I have previously bought gravel from this company and had an equally good experience with that. Happy to recommend them.
Let's be honest, paying for goods and services upfront nowadays is a lottery at best so I was very pleasantly surprised with the service that I received from British Soil. My 30 sq Mts of turf arrived on the promised date with a phone call from the driver beforehand. With the new lawn laid, the result looks fantastic. I generally only get to write negative reviews and letters of complaint for dreadful service but I am making a welcome exception for British Soil on this occasion. Keep up the good work and thank you.
Spoke to Sharon in the office, (holding the fort) she was very helpful, as she started mentioning measurements in qubic ft, I was totally lost in transit by then! She then got me on the right path with amounts of bags of topsoil that I would need, also explained a quick route to the site, very easy procedure as paying over the phone and then picking up, will definitely use again and recommend to others.
