Admittedly only had coffee and a portion of chips (which were lovely) but the stars are for their Covid safe operation. Quick and efficient both in taking orders and serving food (loved the humour). Also the bathrooms which were managed with military precision . Well done Britannia inn.

Meet up with our family for lunch, and was very disappointed with what we were given. Food was served up in a very small plastic basket not on a plate, small wooden knife and fork, sauses just run through the holes onto the table, very difficult to eat, drinks were served in plastic glasses, and were told that they were one use only even thought we were seated inside. Asked if I could take one was told it would cost me 1,and was told that they were washed and reused. All in all this place is lucky to get one star, and that is being generous.

Great to see this amazing place re-opened! Stopped for a coffee and a very tasty bacon Bap which I could have eaten two! Ha.. Looking forward to visiting soon and being able to sit inside...
