I can highly recommend The Vet. They were so lovely with my dog throughout the years. And then at the end of her days they were very responsive and supportive. They are also such good value. The don’t overcharge like many other vets and don’t try and up-sell unnecessarily. They took away the stress of the final stages. Danni (Nurse) was very caring and showed a lot of compassion and Jo (Vet) who helped my dog through her final moments was so understanding, went at my pace and helped to make my dog feel calm and at ease. The took great care of her after she passed and have us some lovely extras with her ashes.

Joined this vet for our dog thinking it would be a good vet even after being told by our friends that the vet practice was very poor. When our dog went in for his 17:10 appointment for his yearly vacation he was left waiting over 2 hour until around 18:20 before being seen. Gave benefit of the doubt due to restrictions and COVID. Then just recently we needed some medicine for him and it was a Friday night and could not get any from pets at home and the vets would not sell us any unless he was first seen by the vet but they had no appointments until Monday, therefore he had to go with out !!!! This was not a prescription drug and can be bought over the counter but unfortunately was not in stock locally at pets at home but the vet was unwilling to help. They appear to rather let an animal suffer. Therefore we will NOT be returning to this practice. AVOID THIS VET AT ALL COST Only want your money and the first concern should be for your pets health.

hi there we have been a member for 2 years with this vet,it is the worst vet i’ve ever been in,it was so dirty our dog caught kennel cough and she has been passed about from pillar to post with her leg injury 3 vets have seen her, and all come with different opinions on her leg 1st vet said it was her nail,2 nd vet said it was her hip, 3 rd vet said it was a tear on her cruciate, we have since left the vet 4 weeks ago and our dog is still in pain waiting on them sending medical records, they are clueless please people listen to what i’m saying avoid at all costs our family has withdrawn all our animals from there and our friends have all left we are now over highcroft and that is how a vet should be run

Really unhappy with this vet practice because: - There were systematically late each time I had to go there. - They are extremely expensive even when you have the pet plan. They asked me 700 for a teeth removal when I found a vet doing the same for 350. - They obviously are not real vets as they can't update the pet passeport. The vet told that she didn't have the right as she was not able to. - Every time there was a free service such as flee treatment, free consultation or free vaccine thanks to the pet plan, they tried to make me pay. So either way there are not organised or they try to get money even when it's not legitimate. - They didn't care much about my old dog. They took him in the room without me (okay, there's the Covid situation) but he was obviously really nervous and each time I heard him crying. - I always had the feeling that they wanted to sell me something instead of just concerning themselves with my pet. - There's no vet referent vet so each time you're meeting something different. You can't build a relationship based on trust. I'm changing our vet practice happily.
