Good food and nice staff. We stayed for almost 2h on a rainy Sunday, we had some roast chicken/pork and also some dessert. A few drinks and a coffee done the job for keeping us busy while the rain was settled. Amazing view from the garden over Blagdon Lake and a lot of green on the surroundings. Definitely a place where to have a nice meal or a drink. Recommend it.

Unbelievable views, probably the best for the West Country. Lovely secure garden so defo good for small children. My husband and me had the mushroom, spinach and blue cheese omlete. It was exceptionally good. We've eaten here several times over the years, in the past it's been hit or miss, but I think it's changed hands and GO for the food and views.

This is a nice traditional country pub, serving good food throughout the day. There are great views over Blagdon lake from the garden, which would be great in the summer months. It has a reasonably large parking area adjoining the building.

I reccomend this place just for the views alone! It overlooks blagdon lake and is so beautiful. Never had food here so not sure how it is but the drinks aren't too badly priced.

Cozy rustic pub with great views over the lake. The staff was very nice and attentive and the food was quite nice as well. Only thing the desert was a bit overpriced but mains and drinks very reasonably priced. Would go again, I'd like to enjoy the outer area in the sunshine.
