Knowle West Media Centre Reviews | Rating 4.5 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Knowle West Media Centre is located in Bristol, United Kingdom on Leinster Ave. Knowle West Media Centre is rated 4.5 out of 5 in the category charity in United Kingdom. Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) supports people to make positive changes in their lives and communities, using technology and the arts to come up with creative solutions to problems and explore innovative ways of doing things. We're an arts organisation and charity and we've been based in South Bristol since 1996. Our many current projects include skills training and employment opportunities for young people and creative programmes working with local people to explore issues ranging from health to housing. Our straw-bale building offers a range of meeting rooms, event spaces, managed offices and production facilities, while our creative team can be commissioned to deliver training and commissions from web design to branding. We also run KWMC: The Factory, an award-winning making and training space based at Filwood Green Business Park. The Factory provides access to new digital manufacturing technologies (such as CNC routers and laser cutters), offers product design and prototyping services for clients, and delivers a range of free training courses.

Great local organisation in the heart of the community. Offer a wide range of services around digital, music and media. Have spaces for hire and exhibitions. All ages welcome and catered for whether it's the youth groups through to the we can make micro housing projects. They are also a member of the community toilet scheme if you are caught short!

This is one of the best places to get involved in to learn about all different kinds of projects. The staff are very friendly and all the staff and projects/workshops they do are very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place xx

Great community projects. I spent the day with 10-14 youth summer activity sessions. It was fun, interesting and I learnt so much.
