Starting out with Hendrix, via The Who, Nirvana, Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more, Jim quickly gave my 12 yr old son a very wide repertoire which really helped him progress quickly on the guitar. Easygoing, very professional and punctual, it was a real pleasure having Jim as a teacher, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Jim has been teaching my kids to play guitar for about 6 years. 100% reliable & 100% professional. Patient regardless of whether he's teaching a small child or stroppy teenager! He gets on to the stuff they want to play really quickly so they don't lose interest - everything from classic rock to movie themes. Would highly recommend Jim to teach any age, any level.
