I took my guitar here for a service. I thought I'd give it a couple weeks of playing before leaving a review. Dave thank you so much. Best 25 have ever spent. No more annoying fuzz or hum. All pots aligned correctly. And the lower action.. I love it Dave. THANKS VERY VERY MUCH. Will be bringing it back regularly as the work you've done is magic.

Fabulous little shop with a big heart. Great deals and a great range of gear. If Dave can't help he'll know someone who can.

I have used this shop twice and could have stayed for hours to chat to the lovely owner. Great advice, not pushy and reasonable prices. Will continue to use this great local shop.

I visited Heron Music just before the lock down to view an amplifier that was advertised on Gumtree, the owner had it in the shop so it could be demoed. Dave had a couple other people in the shop at the time but was helpful while dealing with his other customers. It gave me the chance to have a proper look round the place and, I felt like I wanted to stay all day, loads of various guitars many at very affordable prices, a decent selection of accessories and spares should you have a project on the go or need a specific something to replace a worn out part. And quite a range of amplifiers. I got to try the amp I came to view but it was a bit crackly, figured that was that as the gumtree price was very reasonable for the model, Dave however was straight on it, in 5 mins he had it opened and the contacts and pots cleaned and 15 mins or so later it was back together and working for no extra charge. I expect I'll be making a return trip very soon with a view to purchasing the bass I used to demo the amp with which, he's told me he'll set up and include a soft case at no extra charge. If you are a guitarist of any level, looking for a new (or new to you) axe and anywhere near Bristol give Dave a chance, loads of gear many at very reasonable prices and, sometimes a piece with a little more history than you may initially think. Can't wait to be able to make a return visit.
