Currys PC World Featuring Carphone Warehouse

In store even though it's not busy, still hard to get an employee to unlock 30 headphones. Now online, their website is apparently broken according to their call center. Also according to several of their representatives, Curry's has had at least two trucks full of merchandise worth millions stolen from them. We've been waiting for a product ordered online for pickup over a month ago that was supposed to be fulfilled withing 3 days. Been calling the number (which annoyingly isn't the direct store number) a couple times a week and each time have been lied to and told they fixed the order, it was the websites fault, it was the previous employees mistake, it would arrive the very next day, etc. Loads of lies and BS. They won't even let you complain through their already RUBBISH webchat. Disappointed as initially truly thought we'd have a great experience. Rubbish. Company can't even stop being robbed.

Warning! Apparently paying for an order is not sufficient to secure your goods! Initially I was given great service and help to purchase a LG TV. Order placed and paid for, to be delivered the following week. HOWEVER no email receipt was received (I asked when I bought it and was told the email might take 24 hours to come through), and no delivery happened. Went into the store following weekend to enquire and was told no order on the system, no real apology given and I was told the money would go back into my account as it hadn’t gone through at Curry’s end. I felt treated as if it was my fault. I was told there was no way they could do anything else and was told to ring customer service. I did, and this too was an unpleasant experience. When I finally got through to a person I was transferred twice, before being told they’d found the payment and it would have to be cancelled as their system hadn’t processed it. Not even once was the word sorry uttered or an attempt to help me re-purchase or discussion of something for the inconvenience. Throughout the whole experience, including in store there was no attempt to make up for the massive inconvenience of an order that had been placed and approved simply not showing up and just the ‘system failing’. Quite possibly, genuinely, the worst customer service experience I’ve had in totality. The significant amount of money still yet to return to my account just before Christmas.

Really friendly & helpful staff (Tom @ Winterstoke Rd Branch) in particularly. Impartial & honest advice. Went to purchase a vacuum cleaner. But asked for advice on a security system as well. Bought product out to vehicle. They have a system for click and collect so you can wait in a designated car parking spot if concerned with virus. You can also use gift voucher online by scratching off to reveal pin. Will visit again.

Bought a dodgy acer laptop here, returning it after lockdown. There recovery team knowhow are completely useless. Looks like its argos now on for me!

Amazing! Came in to get the Xbox Series X after weeks of searching . Jack at the front desk went out of his way to phone the nearby stores and eventually found stock in Gloucester where they put one aside for me. Thank you jack for the above and beyond help. Will make my brothers Christmas :)
