Massive collection of costumes and gags, loads of old school jokes. It was a proper blast from the past and will be returning

This is the place to go for fancy dress. They have everything! Went for a 1920's outfit. The person there was very helpful and knowledgeable. I know where to go next time!
I have been shopping at Chaplins for many years f have always found the staff to be very helpful. Whenever I have needed anything I was able to find it and been pleased with my costumes and accessories, such as the Pirate costume for the Bristol Harbour Festival. Last year I treated myself to my super deluxe Father Christmas outfit (complete with cape) which was very reasonably priced and of very high quality.
Small shop crammed with costumes, masks, novelties and gifts. I only bought a few postcards here. The shopkeeper was pleasant and courteous and he was also helpful with directions to local places of interest.
Staff were really helpful but prices were a tad steep! Well recommended
