John Holdsworth recently came to my very elderly grandads house and completed 2 Lasting Powers of Attorney for him. My grandad has been very ill recently and is quite deaf. John was professional, kind and patient and really gained my grandads trust. He was happy to let him tell some of his stories and dealt with the matter very efficiently and calmly. I would highly recommend John.

Disappointing service from Kim who was in charge of dealing with the sale of my property. A number of my phone calls were never returned. I received a confidential email meant for someone else. Not very professional service and would certainly not recommend. Also bizarre that someone who is in charge of conveyancing only works Tuesday to Friday meaning it is even more difficult to get a response/update. Professionalism began to slip very quickly from being referred to as Mr Rogers then to David(which was ok) and then Dave!! Half the time I'm sure my emails were being mixed up with another client of Kim's. I would encourage the person who responds to the feedback from the google reviews to look closely at the email trail between Kim and I before responding with excuses. UPDATE! The person who's duties are to respond and make excuses for any negative google reviews responded to my review and gave me the email address to enable me to email them to discuss my complaint further. I decided to take them up on this offer. A week later and no reply to my email. POINTLESS!

Thank you to Kerryanne, Victoria and the rest of your team, for all their work, helping us get over the line with our first property purchase! Communication was generally very responsive and we were able to speak to other staff for assistance if our named solicitor was unavailable. It would have been helpful, given the COVID-19 restrictions, to have had more telephone input (vs email). As first time buyers, this would have clarified processes and terms more quickly. That said, payments and stages were handled very efficiently and we were pleased to have chosen Barcan Kirby to facilitate things, at a challenging time. Thanks again!

Barcan and Kirby dealt with my divorce, child matters and conveyancing over the past year or so. Each member of staff I spoke with have been caring compassionate and understanding. Each dealt with my matters within good time. All easy to get hold of via email or telephone. All professional and pleasant to talk to. Lots of the costs were fixed fees so there were no unexpected hidden costs.
