Great pub overlooking the water. The food is excellent and freshly cooked. Good selection of beer, lager and gin. Always made to feel welcome.

Fairly traditional pub next to an uninteresting piece of coastline. Having said that, the pub did have a range of leaflets that detailed some local walks. Perhaps i was seeing the place through the lens of a grey cold day. The lady behind the bar was welcoming and friendly. I ordered a soft drink and some food. The drink was fine. For the food I ordered a sausage and onion baggette. It took a little while to be delivered but I was happy to see it came with some very nice chips and salad. All the different parts of the food where very good apart from the baguette bread which had slightly dry cooked from frozen texture. Never mind the very good chips made up for that slight disappointment of the bread. The price was reasonable. I would not mind returning again if I was in the area.
Food good quality but service was very poor. All staff were friendly, however, it took 40 minutes to get some drinks and food about an hour. They didn't come over and we had to get them really. However, useful if you need a bite to eat when in the marina.
Had the nicest meal here tonight. I am gluten and diary intolerant and the selection they could adapt for me was more than i have ever experienced anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble at all! I dont usually find it a nice experience eating out because the menu is always so limited. But i could not fault the service. Thank you so much! Louise
I am not normally someone to leave poor reviews however on this occasion I am left feeling it needs to be said. Service was very poor! The staff were sarcastic, rude and disorganised! We waited over an hour for our order for food to be taken and it was only done then after we asked to do so. The food was very good when it arrived but I would not visit again as the service staff made the experience uncomfortable.
