Brighton Shellfish & Oyster Bar

Fresh and delicious. When I first saw at their seafood, I thought it would taste weird. But I was totally wrong! They were all delicious. So addictive. Oysters were fresh, big and definitely cheaper than London.

We visited again today and both had a crab and prawn mayo roll...absolutely beautiful. Really fresh and tasty and no scrimping on portion size either. Lovely lady served us with a smile. Food was delicious and tasty. And I really like their food. Great value and highly recommended.

It was a lovely sunny day and very busy. There were no free seats so we sat on the wall. They were serving a limited menu, kipper, smoked mackerel, crab or fish fingers in a roll , and canned cold drinks. We had the smoked mackerel in a roll, which was lovely. Great little place to watch the world go by, and the lady serving obviously loves her job.We'll definitely be going again. I'll take baby wipes, next time. Smoked mackerel smell is hard to get off your fingers !!!

Wonderful, fresh oysters right on the beach! Great condiment selection too - hot sauce and lemon juice!!

The food is exceptional. Really... But I was surprised that the person who served us we answering to the phone and after she didn't wash her hands and she was touching the food without gloves... Too bad... Because it's very good food but in these times, the hygiene counts a lot for me.
