The good folks here are doing their best during the pandemic. Be aware we all need to help by following the strict instructions posted at the entrance. One star is missing because this hospital is currently under renovation so the old parts of the building are rambling and narrow in places. In the future I look forward to giving it five stars.

Just got home from having surgery on broken foot. Despite current challenges, the people were tremendous. It was obvious that the staff care and are passionate about what they do, how they treat people and getting the best outcome possible. It was a humbling experience to meet so many that exceeded expectations in ensuring the highest levels of care in circumstances that I think we can agree are unprecedented. My sincere and heartfelt gratitude and thanks to everyone I met and who do this every day. You are a credit and an inspiration.

I was surprised to see reviews, but as my care and treatment was superb, I thought that I would add mine. Admitted 16:30 Tuesday. For emergency assessment to a toe. Operation Thursday. Friday discharged early afternoon. It went seamlessly from beginning to end. Everyone involved were brilliant. What a team, what an organisation. A BIG THANK YOU. I NHS

We have been trying to call a&e for the past 4 hours to find out how our 82 year old mother is, since admitted by ambulance at 4pm. It’s now 23.14 and we still have no news. We are worried sick, no one is picking up calls. General reception is trying their best to cover but we need to know how she is and where she is ......?
