Replaced 4 bedroom windows. Really pleased with the quality of the windows and the fitters were excellent - everything clean and tidy when they finished. Will be replacing other windows in the future. Would recommend.

Got what I thought was a good quote but was on a scrappy piece of paper, I asked for something in writing but was told 'take a photo of it'. I later realised it wasn't clear whether VAT was inc so I phoned up to check and it was confirmed it was so I agreed to proceed with it. Took time off to meet to sort details, paperwork at and the estimator arrived 30 mins early then proceeded to tell me the quote was going to be more than 1000 than was quoted as he had 'forgotten to include a window'....I was only getting a quote for 2 windows and a door! Suggest a better more professional way of providing quotes to avoid such mistakes and wasting of people's time. I had a bad feeling about the estimator attitude too but I haven't marked down for that, purely the way they went about quoting. I gave 3 stars as i was being generous as no idea how good their installers are.

I've been buying windows from Brighton Trade Windows for some years now as I work my way around my house restoring it. I like the way they measure up, give a price (which is always highly competitive) and get the job done cleanly and efficiently. There's not the annoying haggling you have to go through with certain national installers who call around this area every few weeks. Perhaps if those national installers adopted Brighton Trade Windows way of working (i.e. giving a good service) they wouldn't need to go door to door touting for business.
