Click and collect an absolute joke. Surely if you’ve paid online for something you shouldn’t have to wait in the huge queue to receive your goods, especially during the pandemic. I’m not expecting preferential treatment but I’ve already paid for my stuff. Hand it to me and get me out of the shop! The only good thing about click and collect was that Matalan were able to email me once something came back into stock. I’m glad they have self service checkouts, they are very good and help to speed up wait times but as I said earlier, click and collect needs revising. I’ve been stood in a queue for 10 minutes and it hasn’t moved much at all. Really brassed off as I was supposed to collect another item from Merryhill before the centre closes. Unlikely that will happen Click and collect at a time that’s more convenient???? whatever! EDIT.......took 20 minutes in total

Absolutely awful service when I visited this week. One member of staff on the tills for click and collect or cash payments, Other tills were self service by card only. Queued 25 minutes to collect something I ordered online, Felt extremely sorry for the lady cashier who was run ragged. Other members of staff loitering around and seemingly doing nothing. Matalan ought to take tips from Primark Merry Hill. Their queues can be huge but you do not wait long. Very well organised. and efficient. That will be the last time I order online from Matalan.

Not too crowded and self service tills .. don't like the fact that things can't be tried on so hope returns are easy if needed!
